Special Events at Orfila Vineyards and Winery in the San Pasqual Valley
 Only 25 miles from downtown San Diego, Orfila Vineyards is nestled in the San Pasqual Valley on 70 acres of sloping hills.
Event areas are fully landscaped with manicured lawns, flowering gardens and they all offer spectacular views of the San Pasqual Valley and our cascading vineyards. The Vineyard Courtyard features a beautiful white canopy framed with sparkling lights.
Our preferred caterers will create the perfect culinary experiences for your guests. From small stand up receptions to formal buffets or elegant table service, they will customize your special day.
Our event staff will assist you in selecting outstanding Beers and Wines for your event to compliment your food service. Our wines have outscored wineries with more famous appellations in national and international competitions!

Welcome to the Escondido Tasting Room and Gift Shoppe of Orfila Vineyards and Winery. Come in and experience the romance and charm of the time-honored tradition of winemaking. You will be delighted with our selection of some of the Finest Award Winning Wines in Southern California, as well as a vast array of gourmet delectables guaranteed to tantalize the palate of the fussiest of connoisseurs. Our Gift Shoppe is ever popular for its wide selection of wine-related gifts, souvenirs, collectibles, books, and candies. Fabulous Orfila Gift Baskets are available by special order to your specifications. Perfect for gift giving any time of the year!
Enjoy a picturesque view of the mountains and vineyards while sampling one of our award winning wines in our grape arbor. The first taste is free. Then treat yourself to five more and take home an Orfila Logo Wine Glass as a souvenir! Tours and Tastings are provided each day, or for special group events by appointment. If you prefer a tour and tasting with lunch, want to schedule a family picnic in our Rose Garden Park, plan an Unforgettable Evening Dinner Party, or plan the “Wedding of your Dreams”, call our Events Department. Misty Cater, our Events Manager, will be happy to schedule your party and take care of all of the details for you! Give her a call at extension 24 to make your arrangements!
Orfila Vineyards and Winery is ever popular for its Annual Events as well. We are proud to host our Annual Grape Stomp in August, as well as our personal favorite, Our Merlot Futures Party held each year in November. Ask one of our staff members for details!

Take I-15 to Via Rancho Parkway.
Turn east.
Follow "The San Diego Wild Animal Park" signs turn right onto San Pasqual Road.
Drive one mile to Orfila Vineyards on the right. |
Julian Tasting Room:
The Orfila Vineyards tasting room, open for just over a year, is located on Highway 78 about two miles outside of Julian, near Wynola Road at 4470 Highway 78.
Orfila has the added attraction of the Helga O. Art Center, owned by the wife of the winery owner. Helga Orfila has gathered antiques and items from around the world, including Mexico, Asia and Europe. |
