It’s not always easy finding people who love what they do and always do it with a smile and positive attitude, but when you do, it makes all the difference in the world.
Nigel is one of those people. Always friendly, always upbeat and always greeting and helping customers with a smile on his face. He’s a wine server behind the bar and he loves helping customers have a great experience. Whether if it’s your first time at the Vineyard, or your 100th, Nigel is take care of you. Many of you may have already had the pleasure of meeting him but when we asked him a few questions about himself, we couldn’t wait to share his story with you!
Us: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what drew you into the wine industry?
Nigel: I am currently in school studying Renewable Energy Engineering, so I enjoy any chance I can get to meet people and hear their stories. It’s a nice break from math equations.
Us: What part of being an Orfila Team Member do you love the most?
Nigel: I love learning about the science behind making wine, and being able to teach people about just how intricate of a process it is!
Us: What is your favorite Orfila wine?
Nigel: I love the Lagrien, it is so thick and jammy with great fruit flavors. It never disappoints.
Us: Tell us one interesting fact about yourself that we may not know.
Nigel: I have painted a mural at the Google building in LA, and prior to that I had never painted before in my life!
