It’s only fitting that on National Grape Popsicle Day… we decided to take it up a notch and turned three of our favorite wines into popsicles!
We had to keep it classic with the ring pop vibe… our 2017 Gewurztraminer Suss, 2018 Grenache Rose and 2017 Benign Neglect Confusion taste sweet and spark the palette with natural organic ingredients added to our recipe and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate summer. In fact we’ve already decided, these will be stocked in our freezers at home all season long!
Enjoy experimenting with your favorite wines and we hope that you will share your creations with us online! We can’t wait to see how yours turn out. Here’s how we made the magic happen:
Ingredients for the Red Wine Popsicles

- 2 tbs. Raw Honey
- 1 Lime
- 1 tbs. Organic Lemonade
- 1 cup Water
Ingredients for the White Wine or Rose Popsicles
- 1 cup of your favorite White or Rose wine
- 2 tbs. Raw Honey
- 1 Lime
- 1 tbs. Organic Lemonade
- Small bowl of muddled fresh berries
- 1 cup Water
You’ll need to have popsicle molds on hand, any will do! There are so many fun shapes and sizes so get creative and have fun with them. And make sure that if there aren’t sticks in the molds you purchase, you’ll need to grab some. We found these cute ring pop molds by Koji at Target.
These boozy pops only took us about 20 minutes to make but you’ll need plenty of time for them to freeze, at least 24 hours.
How to make the Red Wine Popsicles
- Pour the wine and ½ cup of water into a glass bowl or measuring cup.
- In a small measuring cup or bowl add honey, lime juice, lemonade and the rest of the water. Pour at once into a small saucepan over medium heat to make a simple syrup.
- Add the simple syrup to the wine mixture and stir well.
- Pour the wine mixture into the popsicle molds, leaving room for expansion. Usually molds will tell you where the “fill line” is.
- Freeze for 24 hours. Remove the pops from the molds and store in a storage bag or plastic container in the freezer to enjoy all summer!
How to make the White Wine or Rose Popsicles

- Muddle the fruit in a small bowl, you’ll want to leave some chunks so that they are seen in the popsicles but aren’t too large to fit in the molds.
